In this workshop you will learn the basics of the Meisner technique to help you in your acting to be more truthful, present, and to really listen to what your scene partner is saying to you. Meisner Technique is based in the belief that imagination is the best route to conveying emotion. It is about living truthfully under imaginary circumstances and focusses on listening, responding and putting your intention on the other actor. In this workshop students will explore the famous Meisner Repetition Exercises.

Sundarri is a Meisner-trained actress who studied the technique at The William Esper Studio in New York by completing their Two-Year Conservatory. She studied with many names such as Bruce McCarty and Nancy Mayans. Sundarri has been acting professionally for 10 years now, and has appeared on a number of shows, feature films, and short films. You can catch her on Hulu's Rebel, or check her out in an award-winning short film Tainted Treasure. She is also in two of the running shows at Mockingbird: Telenovela and Broadway Unscripted.
